Dr. Karen Cooney is a New Jersey Certified School Psychologist holding a Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) in School Psychology with a demonstrated professional history of working in the primary and secondary education industry. As a trained professional, Dr. Cooney has expertise in the areas of but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorders, Behavioral Disorders, Psychiatric Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, Crisis Intervention, Counseling, ADHD Coaching, Parent and Faculty Consultation and Transition Planning. 

As a strong mental health services professional, Dr. Cooney serves as a child study team member and case manager for Bloomfield secondary level students attending Specialized Out of District programs.
