Homework Expectations:

• All homework will be COMPLETED AND HANDED IN ON TIME.
• All homework will be neat and organized.
• All homework will be done to the best of your ability. This means that you will try your best to complete all assignments. If you do not understand something, write a note explaining what you do not understand. Come for extra help when it is given.
• Homework slips will be given if the assignment is not turned in on time. Slips must be signed and returned the next day with the assignment completed. If homework does not come in the second day, student will be in detention and a call will be made home.

Homework Hints:

• Before leaving school, make sure to write down your assignments in your planner and to have all the books you need for your assignments. You may also check the teacher’s websites at night or check with a friend to confirm that you have the correct assignments.
• Plan ahead and set aside a homework time each day. Make sure you have enough time to complete the assigned homework.
• Work in a quiet, comfortable place with few distractions.
• If something is difficult, take a break or finish other easier homework first. Then go back to the more difficult assignment.
