Welcome Letter 

September 2024

Dear Parents/Guardians, 

       Welcome back to school, I hope you had an amazing summer! My name is Mrs. Belfi, and I am excited to have the opportunity to get to know and work with your child for the 2024-2025 school year! We are going to have an unforgettable year in second grade. My goal is to have every child in my class succeed to the best of their abilities. Your child will also gain more responsibilities and independence in second grade. 

This is my tenth year teaching second grade here at Carteret and I am excited to share many more Carteret memories with your child! I graduated from Ramapo College with a Bachelor of Arts Literature Degree and my teaching certification. I also graduated from Montclair State University’s graduate program obtaining a Master’s in Reading as well as a Reading Specialist Certification. I cannot wait to teach all I know to your child and watch them shine in second grade this year!

I have a passion for learning and education and my goal is to instill that same passion and enjoyment in my students.
