All levels of this course offer hands-on experience with woodworking. Planning, design, cost projection and finishing are steps to complete projects. Students are expected to exhibit safe and proper use of woodworking tools to create a useful wood project. The Level 1 curriculum provides basics in woodworking and the advanced levels provide the opportunity to work on more involved projects.
All levels of this course investigate the technology that is utilized to design and build infrastructure such as buildings, highways, bridges and airports. Blueprint reading, interior design, aesthetic appreciation, environmental impact, building codes, universal design and materials fabrication are elements for review. Level 1 provides basics, and the advanced levels provide the opportunity to work on more involved projects.
