Bloomfield School District works diligently to obtain grant funding and utilize it to its maximum capabilities.

Perkins - funds BHS CTE programs in business and computer science as well as career exploration clubs and events at BMS
Sustainable New Jersey Trees for Schools (received in 2023)- focuses on adding more trees/shades and has planted over 100 trees across the district in the Spring of 2024!
FOCUS (Received in 2025) - focuses on adopting and implementing high-quality universal literacy screeners. The ultimate goal is to improve student achievement.
Grants that have recently been finished
ESSER (finishing up in 2024- this is the remained COVID funding that is used to address learning loss throughout our after-school Backstop program)
High-Impact Tutoring (received in 2023)- focuses on small group instruction for grades 3 - 5
Climate Change Education & Resilience Grant (received 2024) - funds the creation of climate change learning projects and supplies to elementary grades as well as adding outdoor furniture.
Climate Awareness Education (received in 2023)- used to purchase a large greenhouse for BMS
