PowerSchool Parent Portal Account

Attention Parents and Guardians! It is very important that we have your most current contact information for both routine school communications and for emergencies. Please take a moment to log into your parent portal account, go to Forms, switch the menu at the top to General Forms (mobile devices) or use the General Form tab (desktop computers), and select the Information Update Form. The form can be used to update addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and emergency contacts. If you're not sure what information we have, it's all displayed on the form for easy review. Thank you for keeping your information up to date!

Some answers to questions that we often get asked...

-There is no fee to sit for a yearbook photo & all photos are done here at BHS. 

-Students just have to show up with their hair & makeup how they want it & Legacy will get them all yearbook ready with an outfit. 

-If you choose to wait until November to have your portraits taken, there will be no time for retakes to occur because the deadline for the senior section is December. This section takes the longest for our distributor to print out.

**Class of 2027 Senior Fill Your Calendar Fundraiser - October 1st, 2026 - March 1st, 2027**

○ Boards/envelopes can be handed into Mrs. Pucci ANYTIME between October 1 and March 1.

○ Boards can be picked up in Mrs. Pucci's room or Mr. LaTorre's room OR printed off of the classroom page.

○ Cash and Checks only. Checks must be made out to the Bloomfield Board of Education.

○ Rewards for Fundraising:

■ $400-$500 or more: Two Free Prom Tickets and One Senior Picnic Ticket

■ $300- $399- Two Free Prom Tickets

■ $200- $299- One Free Prom Ticket and one Senior Picnic Ticket

■ $100-$199- One Free Prom Ticket

■ $0-99- One Free Senior Picnic Ticket

Now is the perfect time to renew your Music Parents Association (MPA) membership or become a member for the first time. Your support directly benefits our students through event funding, scholarships, and program enhancements.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: MPA NEEDS AN EXECUTIVE BOARD!

We are reaching out to sincerely ask parents and guardians to consider stepping up and joining the Bloomfield Music Parents Association (MPA) Executive Board.

The MPA plays an important role in supporting our students, music directors, and music programs throughout the year. We care deeply about these programs and the opportunities they provide our children, and we want to see them continue to thrive for years to come.

Three board members have completed their terms, leaving three positions open and only our Vice President planning to remain on the board. As former board members, we recognize how important it is to have a team ready to carry this work forward. Some of us are willing to continue helping because we care so much about the MPA and don't want to see these programs left without the support they need. At the same time, those of us who have served also need to be able to pass the torch and make room for new parents to get involved. We cannot sustain this work without others being willing to step forward and share the responsibility.

We truly need parents to consider taking on these roles so the MPA can continue its work and our students can continue benefiting from the programs and opportunities it helps provide.

We know that families have busy schedules and that joining a board can sometimes feel intimidating or overwhelming. We want to reassure you that serving on the MPA Executive Board is very manageable, especially compared to many elementary school HSA boards. You don't need previous board experience to make a meaningful contribution.

Here are a few things to know:

• You won't be doing it alone. New board members will receive guidance and support from former board members.

• We've worked hard to set the next board up for success. The current board has updated the bylaws, strengthened procedures and protocols, increased community visibility, grown memberships, and organized successful fundraisers and events.

• You will have a strong foundation to build on. Much of the groundwork is already in place, making this a great opportunity to get involved and help move the MPA forward.

The following positions are open:

• President (2-year term)

• Treasurer (2-year term)

• Secretary (2-year term)
