These are my go-to, best-in-class general resources for teaching and learning. You can find all our student-facing resources here, but this is where I've gathered links of particular interest to teachers. Don't see what you're looking for? Email me your topic, and I'll see what I can find.
Formerly known as Teaching for Tolerance ("Our work has evolved in the last 30 years, from reducing prejudice to tackling systemic injustice. So we’ve chosen a new name that better reflects that evolution: Learning for Justice."), this site is a project of the Southern Poverty Law Center and includes lesson plans, film kits, and teaching strategies on topics including race and ethnicity, religion, ability, class, immigration, gender and sexual identity, bullying and bias, and rights and activism.
The Center for Humane Technology asks, "How can we build a world where we have healthy relationships with technology?" There are a ton of resources on this site, but especially useful is their Youth Toolkit which offers "a roadmap to help fix our broken social media environment."
"Each guide contains questions and activities that can be self-directed or worked through in a group or classroom setting. Each guide can be useful on its own, though they are best when used as a full curriculum. They are designed for educators to use with youth ages 13-25 but can be used by anyone to learn about these issues and to push for a humane, sustainable, and equitable future."
