Reader's and Writer's Workshop

Readers and writers workshop give students the opportunity to work two ways in the classroom everyday. Students work in whole group during teacher instructed mini-lessons, then branching off into small group and individual activities. The workshop model allows students to have time to engage in a lesson, work, and share during a structured time frame.
