The HKU Academy for the Talented is a unique membership-based programme that brings top and talented students all over the world together, aiming at stretching their intellectual potential and enhancing their whole-person development.  The key initiative for the Academy is to nurture future leaders of society, and as part of this effort the Academy expects the programmes organized could empower participants to gain a broad exposure to different fields. 

Every year, the Academy recruits the top-performing students nominated by the schools join the wide variety of activities which span across a multitude of disciplines, including but not limited to medicine, law, engineering, social sciences, dentistry, basic sciences, mathematics, and arts.　With the skill sets acquired and networks established through the programmes, members should be able to have a comprehensive understanding of different academic environments and be intellectually stimulated.
