Dear friends,

Hello! As we bid farewell to the year, I would like to send you my greetings along with our year-end review on the growth and changes of Bliss & Wisdom Foundation of Northern California (BWNC).

We held various activities in 2022 to pass on our founder - Late Master Jih-Chang’s concept of “compassionate toward our earth".  These include organic seedlings charity sales, beach and creek cleanings, tea times with healthy food, online Chinese New Year cooking class, etc. It is through our daily activities that we practice the concept of compassionated heart toward all lives around us, toward one selves, toward our families, toward our communities, and toward our earth.

BWNC made break throughs this year by realizing our goals with efforts of cross-department cooperation internally, and reaching out to businesses and schools externally.  Together we care for the communities and even extended our efforts to undeveloped land. Volunteers built Peacock Villa of BW bit by bit with their hands. This year, various activities such as the July 4th celebration, the Mid-Autumn Festival Kiting, and Halloween Hilltop Surprise were held. We took this opportunity to visit neighbors and share with them the beautiful Peacock Villa.

Cupertino Branch has officially opened its door to a bright future.  Despite the pandemic, the teachers taught, by example, not only the traditional Confucius concepts but also the belief in caring for all lives.  Let the wisdom of the classics be deeply planted in the hearts of the children!
