10/30 Pumpkin Carving
Let’s get together for Halloween festivities with some pumpkin carving and treats! This event is cohosted by BWYA and TAP-SF and will take place outdoors atop Alum Rock (Peacock Gap Dr) overlooking downtown San Jose. If you are new to pumpkin carving, no worries, we can provide you basic instructions, but it is quite straight-forward and fun!
Time: Sunday 10/30

Plan:
1:30PM - Carpool from BWNC San Jose location (1338 Ridder Park Drive, San Jose, CA 95131) Carpooling is highly encouraged as parking is limited at Alum Rock (Peacock Gap Dr.)
2-4PM - Pumpkin carving at Alum Rock(Peacock Gap Drive)
End - Guests will vote on the best pumpkin carving. The choice to participate in the contest is optional. Prizes will be awarded. All for fun!
(Optional) - This event is held jointly with BWNC’s Halloween party, so a dinner set is available for ~$10 for a hotdog, drink, fruit, and small dessert. This is completely optional. You are also welcomed to join the Halloween party’s other Halloween-themed activities such as mazes, costume contest, trick or treating, etc.
Bring:
Pumpkin to carve - local grocery store - make sure it is a standard orange pumpkin meant for carving.
Pumpkin carving kit - local grocery store or purchase online.
Refillable water bottle.
Comfortable and layered clothes. It may get cold.

Covid Safety:
If you feel unwell and/or have COVID symptoms, please do not attend. Masks are not required. Feel free to wear one if you feel more comfortable.
