BLIA YAD stands for Buddha’s Light International Association – Young Adult Division.
It is a global network of young Buddhists, ages 18–35, who strive to embody the spirit of Humanistic Buddhism through service, learning, and fellowship. The San Diego Subdivision of BLIA YAD is based at Hsi Fang Temple and provides a welcoming space for young adults to grow spiritually, engage in meaningful volunteer work, and connect with like-minded peers.
Through activities such as community outreach, study groups, and cultural events, members practice the Three Acts of Goodness: do good deeds, speak good words, think good thoughts.
