III. ELIGIBILITY: BLIA members and anyone interested in learning and practicing Buddhism with

no restrictions on age, education, or religious faith.

V. CATEGORIES

§ ENGLISH:

1. Adults Group: multiple choice, crossword puzzle, short answers. Short presentation (optional)

2. Young adults: Ages 18-30, PowerPoint Presentation of an article

3. Youths: Ages 12-17, Short answers of an article & crossword puzzle

4. Children:

a. Ages 10-11, Story-telling from pictures & crossword puzzle

b. Ages 7-9, True/False & multiple choice picture quiz

c. Ages 4-6, True/False picture quiz

*Study guide of all age levels will be available for download on the official website on June 20.

§ OTHER LANGUAGES: Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, and Korean.

VI. TO PARTICIPATE

1. To register: Online registration

2. Registration dates: June 20 till August 20

3. How to take the exam: Online exam

4. English exams for all age groups will be managed under Google Classroom platform.

When registering, please provide your Gmail account.

5. For online exam, the exam link will be emailed to the participant one hour ahead.

6. It is an open-book exam.

VII. AWARDS:

1. Announcement of results: List of individual and group awards will be posted on the Buddhism Exam official website on October 1.

2. Types: a. Group Awards – Distinctive Buddhism Award and Buddhism Exam Promotion

Award. The award recipients will be recognized at the BLIA General Conference.

b. Individual Awards – Participants in each group with full score or distinctive results.

The individual award recipients will be recognized at local temple.
