Dottie the Disco Whale shark was made for as much recycled robot materials as possible. Her design was based off the Everybot (Team 118) design that we had to adapt to a mecanum wheel set up. This was the first season we used command based coding and the mecanum wheels. We also re-branded this year and became Weird and Wired.
2025 Midland event awarded for the message the robot signifies.
2025 Rainbow Rumble award for team cohesion and brand representation.
Griswald the Dapper Mushroom was the first year we decided to take on a build design that had a little less documentation. The Unqualified Quokkas released an onshape file and from that we built this cutie. We waited too long to order sprockets and so ended up using belts to rotate the arm. We learned a lot this year!
The Dapperest of Mushrooms!
Grumbot the dragon was the first year Mr. Grant and Mrs. Vore became coaches. It was the blind leading the blind, we learned a lot about fabrication thanks in no small part to the Tractor Technicians (3655) and their middle school team (8424).
The they/them of mayhem.
Bimbot was an iconic robot that utilized the Everybot Design (118). This was the 2nd season with coach Hardy. She won both the imagery award and the Judges award. She also came in 1st place at the Rainbow Rumble. She was one hard working lady!
A robot for the irls, the Gays and the Theys.
This was Mr. Hardy's first year coaching a robotics team. It was a challenging year for more than just that the novelty aspects. It became known as churro and started the AutoGoat tradition of naming the robot. It was based off the Everybot Design.
