Developmental Delay: the condition of a child being less developed mentally or physically than is normal for its age.

Developmental Cognitive Delay:  a condition resulting in significantly below average intellectual functioning and concurrent deficits in adaptive behavior affects educational performance and requires special education and related services. 

Prevalence: 6.99% and it has been increasing
