088 - Police (Mossos d'Esquadra)

The Mossos d'Esquadra are Catalonia's autonomous community police force. They are responsible for crime investigations, crime prevention and assistance at accident scenes. 

091 - City police force (Guàrdia Urbana)

The Guàrdia Urbana are responsible for public order by patrollling the roads and streets. They also look after traffic safety and control. The Guàrdia Urbana are also the first point of call for everyday situations such as neighbourhood disputes, noise problems, etc.
