In Room One we use Seesaw to document and complement our learning in class. We strongly encourage families to comment on their child's Seesaw posts, as interacting and receiving feedback gives students more purpose for their posts. Some ideas for comments include:
A question about what was learned.
e.g. "Can you tell me more about..."
Encouragement about the effort put in.
e.g. "I like how you..."
Prompts for reflection.
e.g. "What was the hardest part?"
An 'I wonder' remark.
e.g. "Great work on butterflies. I wonder what the biggest butterfly of all is?"
Voice recordings are also a great way of adding feedback, especially for young children who are still gaining confidence with reading.
