Friday - Complete tasks and library
Wednesday and Thursday - Find 10 words in the chapters you just read and write down the synonym for those words. Synonyms are words that have nearly the same meaning.
Monday and Tuesday - Read chapters 3 and 4. Write a letter to the main character. Think about things you may want to ask. What can you tell them about yourself?
Week 6
WALT - Make inferences from what I read
Friday - Present your letter to your group. What feedback can you provide?
Wednesday and Thursday - Read chapters 3 and 4. Write a letter to the main character. Think about things you may want to ask. What can you tell them about yourself?
Monday and Tuesday - Make sure you have read chapters 1 and 2. Who are the main characters? Where does the story take place? What are your predictions for the next chapter?
Week 5
WALT - Predict, check, confirm & self-correct as I read for high levels of comprehension / understanding.
Friday - Complete any unfinished work
Thursday - What was your favourite part in the first chapter? Who were the characters involved? Where did the event happen? Why was it your favourite part?
Wednesday - Write a prediction about the book by looking at the cover. Read the back of the book and write another prediction
Tuesday - How reading will work. Looking at rotations etc
Monday - Swimming Sports
