One of Gabriel's first clue to being non-binary was when they wrote "I like to wear hats because it makes me feel like a girl," in kindergarten. They came out 5 years later, in 5th grade.
Their story: Mila began to question their sexuality in fourth grade, when they developed feelings for their best friend. After LOTS of research and MANY Am I Gay? Quizzes, they came out as biromantic/asexual and genderfluid/demigirl in 2023.
Roz Chester
Roz realized they were gay during a class discussion on sexuality. They never felt attracted to boys, and in 3rd grade, they developed feelings for their best friend. By 5th grade, they felt less like a girl but didn't identify as a boy either, leading them to come out as gay and agender. And then in the summer of 2025 realized they were asexual and grayromantic feeling small romantic attraction but no sexual.Â
Genevieve Fichtel
Genevieve realized they were non-binary in kindergarten when they didn't really like being called a girl, and realized they were asexual when they learned how babies were made. After a lot of crying and a lot of rejection, they realized that they were pansexual and came out to their moms in 2024.
