Sol is playing Park Ranger in the Biz Town play. She has played a Maid and a Sugar Plum Fairy in two separate Nutcrackers and the 5th grade play last year. She enjoys drawing and styling outfits in her free time. Her favorite moment in the show is when the therapist says the teachers insurance is basic. "Thank you to my parents who were flexible enough to let me do this play."

Reagan is very exited to be a part of her first middle school production. Most recently she was in a production called Captain Snap and the Children on Vinegar Lane. When she is not acting, Reagan loves to spend time with her family and friends.

I am Will. I am playing the doctor in Biz Town and I love using leeches. I like to be on stage, I also like to build with legos and play sports. I am very exited for this years' play because we get to preform it 3 times, twice on Friday and once on Saturday, I am very exited for that because this will be my first time preforming 3 times. This is going to be very fun.

Alex Bajorek is a 6th grader new to Blake. He has been in musical and improv shows before and is very excited to try a play. He likes to play video games, read books, have fun, and try new things. His favorite recess activity is ultimate frisbee. He is very thankful that his mom nudged him to sign up for the fall play and he is having a great time with this wonderful cast and crew!

Olympia Boxer (she/her) is excited about acting in Biz Town. Most recently, she acted in the 5th grade play. She is in 6th grade and this is her first middle school production. When not doing theater, she enjoys drawing, hanging out with friends, and working on the middle school Lit Mag (DUSK). "Thank you for coming and watching our play, I hope you enjoyed it."

Zoe Burns (she/her) is SO excited to be being the DJ! She's acted in a few played before such as the third grade play, forth grade play and the fifth grade play which was most recent. In her free time, Zoe loves going shopping, snuggling her dogs, hanging out with friends and sleeping. She wants to shout out to her best friend Isabel for always being there for her!

Frances Calderone LOVES football. She is a Vikings super fan.  A Sunday is a failure if she doesn't watch at least three games. When she is not watching football,  she loves to bike to coffee shops and get herself special treats.

Rose (she/her) is super excited to play the Zookeeper in Biz Town. She is a 6th grade animal lover who is soon getting a new dog and has 2 geckos, 2 turtles, and a dog. She loves ALL animals so its very fitting that she is the Zookeeper.

Chase Coddington (He/Him). I am very excited to be Biz town's very own Reporter. I think this years play is awesome! I'm in seventh grade and have been in the past two Blake theatre productions, Spongebob and Circus Olympus. I like rock climbing and my favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip.

Amelia Colburn is excited to the teacher in the Blake Middle School production of Biz Town. She most recently has been in Shrek the Musical (at Morningside Theater Co.) , Spongebob, and Circus Olympus (both at Blake Middle School). Something she has really enjoyed is the camaraderie and fun in the rehearsal process. She would like to say thank you to her parents for helping her learn her lines and be confident with this play!

This is Audrey's third production in the middle school that she has acted in. She's super happy and excited about this. She doesn't have much to say. "But remember kids, reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram. Buy gold! Buy!"

Lyla Cuirle (she/her) is excited to be an astronomer in Biz Town. She last acted in the 5th grade play A Wonderful Whizmical Quwinkydink! She is in 6th grade, and Biz Town is her first Middle School play. When outside of school she loves drawing and playing with her pets! Special thanks to her parents who always believed in her and encouraged her throughout her life!

Isla Dean (She/Her) is having a lot of fun getting to play the Ice Cream Shop Owner. Some of her past theater experience happened here at Blake! The third grade play, the fourth grade play, and the fifth grade play! She is in 6th grade and this is her first middle school play. Some of her favorite things to do are making bracelets, dancing, playing basketball, watching TV, and playing with her puppy!

Georgia Doar is so excited to be playing the Nuclear Physicist (Though is confused on what the scientific words she's saying mean)! She loves all types dance, singing and acting. She dances with the Minnesota Dance Theater, and acts and sings with Lundstrum Performing Arts. She's currently in 6th grade and has been in many productions throughout the Twin Cities. When not doing theater and dance, she loves traveling, hanging with her family, crocheting and writing! "I hope you like the show! We've had a lot of fun over the past couple weeks!"

My name is James Gaynor. I really enjoy baking at home. I previously, before Biz Town, was the fifth grade play - A Wonderful Whizmical Quinqidink. I was in the first story playing Marly the monguse. I am in sixth grade and like dungens and dragons

Emma plays the Pet Shop Owner in Biz Town. She is in 8th Grade and this is her 4th performance at Blake. In her free time she likes to walk her dogs, play games, and hang out with her family. Emma is really excited to be in this year's cast of Biz Town!

Annie Houston is the Lawyer in Biz Town. She was in Last years fall play and winter musical. Annie loves to figure skate, and she plays the cello. She loves to perform, and she is super excited to perform in Biz Town.

Hi. I'm Soren. I like cats and my favorite food is spaghetti. I enjoy playing video games and reading in my free time. My favorite sport to play is ultimate frisbee or disc golf.

Leo is a seventh grader who is very excited to be participating in Biz Town! He recently participated in Death! a Musical! and had a lot of fun doing it. He also hopes to participate in the winter musical.

Hi I'm Annaliese. I'm in 6th grade, and this is my first middle school play. I'm so exited to be in Biz Town, and I hope you enjoy the show!!!

Nina is excited to be Detective 2 in this years play! Most recently she performed this summer in Shrek a Musical. She is in 8th grade and has performed in 4 of Blake's productions. When not acting Nina enjoys playing lacrosse, seeing friends and taking walks. "I appreciate all the hard work everyone has put in. I will miss rehearsal so much!"

Rowan Lorenz has spent decades preparing for his role as The Therapist in Biz Town. He played the all powerful role of, "Merve" in the play last year, ever since, he knew he was destined to help people's mental health wellbeing. Rowan enjoys partially harassing people backstage while waiting for his moment to shine, and he just has one more thing to say. Thad (he/him) is the firefighter in Biz Town. He was in Circus Olympus last year. He is in 7th grade. When Thad is not acting, he likes to snowboard and play guitar.

My name is Mary Ellen Meek and I'm in the 6th grade. I love gymnastics and soccer. I started doing soccer when I was in pre-k and I started gymnastics in 4th grade. I think acting is really fun. When I joined Blake in 4th grade there was a play and I thought it would be fun but it was more than fun, doing the play was amazing. In 5th grade the play was even bigger and more fun.

Natalie Palmby (she/her) is happy to be playing the role of detective 1. So far, she has been in two middle school productions and is in 8th grade. When she's not in rehearsal she likes to write her book and draw random things. Her favorite part of the play and rehearsal is spending time with others and having fun. She would like to thank everyone who has helped make this play happen.

Phoebe Pann (She/Her) is excited to be the fashion designer in Biz Town. She hasn't done any theater productions recently but when she was young she did several productions at Lundstrum. Some of her interests outside of acting and playing sports are crocheting and knitting. Her favorite moment in the show is when the true nature of the kids is shown.

Catherine is exited to be in biz town as her 5th show at Blake Middle School. She is also currently in the Addams Family Jr. at Morningside Theater Company. Outside of rehearsal you can find her with friends, spending time outside, and cross country skiing.

Hi! I'm Jules. I'm in 7th grade and I have been involved in a few theatrical productions in the past year, and I am super excited to be involved in this year's production of Biz Town!

Graham is a boy with no experience in theatre except for a play he wrote in fifth grade with his friends then performed in front of the kindergarteners. He is in middle school right now (6th grade) and he likes Pizza, Art, and Magic the Gathering.

Sabeen Siddiqui is very exited to be working on her very first play at blake! In Biz Town, she is the movie star. She is in 6th grade, and loves acting and theater! She knew she wanted to do the middle school play after performing the 5th grade play last year. When not working on the play, she enjoys reading books. Vivienne is so excited to be in the Biz Town cast as the civil engineer. The most recent theater production Vivienne has been in is Death a Musical. Vivienne is in seventh grade and this is her second middle school production. While not on stage, she loves to do art and bike. She also loves skiing and golfing.

This will be Ada's 4th production at Blake. She is in 7th grade this year, and she was in last years' play, Circus Olympus, and musical, The Spongebob Musical. She was also in her 5th Grade Play. Ada is really excited to be performing again!

Henry loves his role in Biz Town. The last official thing Henry has been in was the 5th Grade Play. He is in 6th grade and this is his first Middle School production. Outside of acting, Henry loves to play sports and also direct, act in, film, and edit at home movies. Thanks!!.

Sophia Widge (they/she) is happy to take part in the chaos that is Biz Town. Last year, they acted in Circus Olympus. They are in 8th grade, and enjoy design. Recently they have taken up fencing epee, which they are exited to continue this year.

I am excited to be in this play. In my free time I love to play hockey. Ienjoyed being in the play at rehearsal and acting. I have a really fun part and I have really fun lines.

Mr. Geissler is the middle school theater director at Blake, and Biz Town is his seventh production here. In sixth grade English class he did a career project about being an actor (go figure), but he didn't get any Tootsie Rolls for it. Mr. Geissler is looking forward to directing Matilda, Jr. in the MPAC next semester. Thank you for supporting middle school theater at Blake, and enjoy the show!

Gabriel Shen (they/them) is excited to be assisting directing Biz Town. Most recently, they wrote, directed, and acted in Death! A Musical. They are in 7th grade and have been in two Middle School productions. When not doing theater, they enjoy big projects and taking walks outside, as well as working on the Middle School newspaper. Arianna is extremely happy to be stage manager for this year's fall play. She is in 8th grade, has acted in 5 musicals, and been in crew for 3 productions. When she's not in rehearsal you can find her baking, figure skating, playing tennis, and watching mystery or thriller shows. Irene Shaw (she/her) is exited to do the role as assistant stage manager along with Brynna Larson. She has previously been in the fifth grade play acting as Anansi in one of the four parts. They are in 6th grade and have been in all the upper elementary plays. When she is not doing acting or being apart of the crew she enjoys playing cello and playing with her dog. “ thank you everyone for coming, we hope you enjoy!”

Brynna Larson is very exited to be working as an assistent manager with Irene Shaw. She is in 6th grade and LOVES dogs and helping people. Brynna has done all the elementary school plays (amazingly I might add). She enjoys being of stage more, not cause of stage fright, because she just lies being a little more in control more.

My name is Harper Brost, I am 11 years old and have 3 siblings. I started Blake in kindergarten and my favorite subject is math. When I'm older I would like to be a singer and be really good at volleyball. One of my biggest beliefs is that people should be treated fairly.

Nora Schmitt is in eighth grade, and is excited to be working on the costume crew this year! This is her first time being in a play/musical, but loves designing, and crafting in her free time. She also loves reading and playing games with friends.

This is Lilla's 3rd production working on including "Circus Olympus" and "Spongebob The Musical Jr.". Lilla is very excited to work on Biz Town and excited to spend time with new people. She would like to thank her parents for letting her do this and her family for being very supportive.

Costume Crew

Alex is in lights crew and this is not his first time. He was in lights crew in the musical last year as well as the play. Alex's best memory's from the musical last year was sitting with his friends in a small place eating dinner. Some of his hobbies are playing a game called battle cats and he love to read Percy Jackson.

Phoebe has always wanted to be a light crew member. She is in 6th grade and has done zero middle school productions. Her only past theater experience was the fifth grade play. Two activities she likes are swimming and reading. Someone she would like to thank is Mr. Geissler for putting together this amazing play.

Jack Isaacson, a 6th grader has recently acted in A Wonderful Whimsical Quinkydink as Moe the Mongoose. When not working in a play Jack enjoys drawing and digital art. Jack also has a dog, Teagan. He also likes to play hockey and has won multiple medals. 

Freya Lundholm loves being a part of The Blake School's productions. She has been a part of set and props crew in the past for Spongebob, The Musical. She is in 7th grade and is excited for whats to come with this new production.

Louie Wallace is in 7th grade. He has been in circus Olympus and this year, he is doing tech for Biz Town. Louie loves to skateboard, unicycle, and anything else creative and fun. My favorite memory from rehearsal last year was all the fun warmup games we did at the beginning of rehearsal. Thanks to everyone who participated!
