Oh man, where do we start?! Here are a few recommendations, but feel free to explore others too:
Chacewater is close to downtown Kelseyville (15 minutes). They have yummy wines and also a bocce court. Grab a bottle, and play a game!
Boatique is about 15 minutes away and great. Big brands like Caymus and Michael Mina restaurant wines buy grapes from them to supplement their fabulous brands. Plus, it’s a woody boat museum!
Stonehouse (about 35 minutes). Great wines! By the way…you’ll pass a Walmart on the way, if you need to pick anything up.
Wine in the Willows is a wine bar with lots of local wines, right off the water. Playground for the kids right across the street too. Good pit stop on the way up to upper lake if you want.
Six Sigma is probably our favorite! It’s about 25 minutes away. FYI: it’s a couple miles down a dirt road. It’s actually a 4500 acre ranch, and their tasting room was actually an old stagecoach stop in the 1800s. It’s totally worth a stop!! Plus, pick up some meat from their ranch to grill at the house!
