I am the media specialist for the 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students.  My education includes:  a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Northeastern State University, a certificate in Curriculum & Instruction from Peru State College, a Master's Degree in Education and a Graduate Media Specialist degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  I have been a media specialist at Blair Community Schools since 2018 with 7 years at the elementary level, and 5 years in Omaha Public schools before that.  

During the year, students will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities in the library including Teen Read Week, a Golden Sower reading program, the Scholastic Book Fair, and of course the opportunity to check out a variety of fiction and nonfiction books, and other materials.
