1st Quarter
During first quarter your child will practice and and/or be assessed over these skills:
*identify and create letter names and sounds, including the long and short sounds of the five vowels and the "soft" sounds of c and g; "H" brothers: sh, ch, wh, th
*segment and blend CVC words (c-a-t)
*identify and create rhyming words
*correctly write first name; basic handwriting skills
*identify numbers 1-20
*reading high frequency words from kdg list and their current reading level
*independently pick a topic, create a detailed illustration, and label with a correlating sentence
2nd Quarter
During second quarter your child will practice and be assessed over these skills:
