This all depends on how well you use your class time. Most students will get homework finished before they leave school. However, you will have homework if your absent or if you need to study for a test. Check out this Powtoon for more information!

In 5th grade we switch classes for each subject, just like you will in 6th grade. So you will have a teacher for Science, Social Studies, Math, ELA, and Specials. You will spend the most time with your homeroom teacher.

Oh yeah! 5th grade will walk to the elementary building for recess each day. If you fall behind on your classwork or if you need some time thinking about making better choices, then your wonderful teachers will let you use this time to get back to awesome.

Class Dojo is a website that I use in my room to reward all sorts of things you already do, like...

• staying on task

• being prepared for class

• using good manners

You and your parents will be able to login to your account to track awesomeness and customize your monster.

You will just need to login to your google account using your school email address and password. All your bookmarked sites including Google Classroom will show up at the top.

The first thing you should do is check your Login Locker. If you can't get to your login locker, then send me an email and I will help you when I get it.
