The Black Progressive Movement is dedicated to empowering and uplifting the Black community by fostering economic growth, educational awareness, and cultural pride. We aim to promote black enterprise, educate our collective on the rich history that predates slavery, and create a supportive platform for legitimate black business. Our mission is to strengthen our communities and ensure a brighter future for generations to come through collective support and resilience.

Goals
1. Create Economic Opportunities for Black Businesses
· Launch a grant program aimed at providing at least $1 million in funding to Black-owned businesses within the next fiscal year.
· Establish partnerships with 50 major corporations to promote supplier diversity, resulting in a minimum of 50 new contracts awarded to Black businesses within 18 months.
2. Raise Capital to Support Black Business
· Facilitate investment opportunities that raise at least $5 million in venture capital for Black entrepreneurs over the next two years.
· Organize quarterly fundraising events and workshops, aiming to involve at least 200 investors each quarter, with a goal of securing funding for 25 new startups annually.
3. Generate Statewide List of Black Businesses
· Develop and launch an online directory of Black businesses in each state, with a target of listing at least 1,000 businesses per state within the first year.
· Conduct outreach to gather information from 80% of Black businesses within a designated area to ensure comprehensive representation in the directory.
4. Provide Education to Our Youth About Our History
· Implement a curriculum about Black history that predates slavery in at least 50 schools across different states within the next two academic years.
· Conduct community workshops for at least 1,000 students annually to teach them about historical figures and events, with feedback indicating 90% of participants felt more informed about their history.
5. Crisis Relief
· Provide assistance and support to Black families during crisis situation(s).
· Distribute essential supplies, including food, water, and medical aid, to at least 500 families affected by the crises, ensuring that 80% of recipients report improved access to basic needs.
