Working with wide range of modern technology in the college as made my academic life many times easier. Being able to instantly contact your teacher with the use of ‘Google Classroom’ has really benefited me as all of my work and provided help is therefore in one place, it’s almost like the teacher is there to help me 24/7 even when I’m not in college.
Ned Sowden A-level programme 2019-21
My previous experiences with technology in education always felt disorganized but since starting at Blackpool Sixth it’s been so useful to have all my work in one place and have so many resources available if something is confusing. We have the opportunity to read ahead or revisit lessons in our own time to help us with revision, something that wouldn’t be as readily available without the use of technology.

"The college provides access to the internet for all students' devices, meaning you can work electronically on most devices and in most of the places around the college. They also offer lots of software that you can use on your own devices, making working on projects and other important tasks from home much easier."
Charlie Burrell: Sciences 2019-21
