A talent agent, or booking agent, is a person who finds jobs for actors, authors, broadcast journalists, film directors, musicians, models, professional athletes, screenwriters, writers, and other professionals in various entertainment or sports businesses. As a talent agent you will champion, promote and sometimes defend the talent you represent in order to protect their interests and ensure they get plenty of relevant, quality work. You may also scout for new talent in the hope of representing them and raising their profile.
