Whether you’re just finishing your A-levels (or an equivalent qualification) or looking to take your career in a whole new direction, our school leaver programmes and apprenticeships are your fast-track to a brilliant future.
Whatever your passion, from science to engineering, with us you’ll not only get to mix hands-on training with classroom study, you’ll be paid to do it. Gain advanced engineering, manufacturing, scientific, digital or procurement skills and study across our businesses or central functions.
Duration: 2 -4 years
Starting salary: £13,860 per year
Once you’ve decided which apprentice programme is for you, you’ll need to find an appropriate vacancy and apply online in 'search and apply’. Once you’ve decided which programme is for you, you’ll need to find an appropriate vacancy and apply online in 'search and apply’. Remember, you can only apply for one role each cycle, so make sure it’s the right one for you. Please also check you can provide the right evidence of your right to work in the UK from the information in this document.
You’ll need to complete the assessments provided within ten days for your application to be considered.

If your application is successful, you'll be invited to our assessment centre. The day could include:
Practical test: designed to measure how you can follow instructions – one for our Practical apprentices.
Group exercise: we’ll ask you to participate in a group activity that will allow us to observe how you work with others in a team environment.
Motivational interview: We’d like to know more about your achievements and what motivates you to want to work with us. For our GCSE level programmes, think about a time you've made, designed or planned something and be prepared to talk us through what you did and the skills you learnt. For degree level programmes, you’ll be asked to prepare a specific presentation in advance.
Technical interview: we’d like to gain an understanding of how well you are able to learn and understand information that relates to our business. We’re also interested in your understanding of Rolls-Royce and the different sectors in which we operate.
Competency interview: For our GCSE level programmes, we’ll be asking you to talk about times when you’ve shown competencies and behaviours we think are important in our people.
