We recommend you to call your point of contact to introduce yourself and confirm your appointment.
When you are on an assignment, you are Backbone's ambassador.
Meaning that we ask you to:
Arrive on time
Wear an appropriate attire
Be polite and kind
Check the address of the shooting and if flight authorisations are needed
Play close attention to authorisations in sensitive areas like airports, railways...
Set up the drone video mode in 1080p FULL HD.
Set the ISO according to the brightness of the scene, be cautious to avoid too much noise.
Set the frame rate on 50 FPS and the shutter speed as the double of the FPS.
Set the profile picture to one of the following settings: LOG, HRD, or low contrast profile.
Take 25 - 30 clips
Remember to find a spot to hide yourself.
Cover ALL the sides of the property.
Take at least 2 clips using different movements for each side.
Flying up while tilting down will make it appear as though your drone is spiralling up and above your subject.
Try to make the camera tilt to be as smooth as possible for optimum results.
Start close from the ground and close to your subject, then gradually pull back and up.
Your drone will appear to spiral up and away from your subject, creating an awesome reveal.
Simply tilting your camera up while in point of interest mode can create a nice reveal of your subject.
