On a strategic level, experiences from several strategic orientation workshops with various universities & institutes have shown that academia face a two-fold challenge with regard to the concept of a fourth industrial revolution.
On the one hand colleges have substantial problems to grasp the idea of Industry 4.0 and relate it to generic industry domains. On the other hand, they struggle to identify strategic fields of action, programs and projects to move towards an institution/academia aligned to the integrated sense of Industry 4.0.
The latter problem is a consequence of the first problem area described – the lack of understanding for the concrete relevance and benefit of Industry 4.0. BIZM helps to address the above problem of academia in building common understanding of Industry 4.0 by demystifying the concepts.
BIZM can help academia through it's competency development framework to analyze industry needs, identify gaps and define delta courses to bridge the gap between academia and industry. BIZM's network of industry experts having extensive domain knowledge provide critical inputs for industry specific best practices throughout the development of program.
