# Specimen size - 150 x 150 x 150 mm (tolerance limit of 2 mm)

# Age of cubes: 7-10 days 

# 7 days of compression strength attained on contest

# Mix design report should be submitted in the shared form on or before 27.04.2022.  Google form - https://forms.gle/s667F9AWD8XnsQ1v9

Restriction :

# No use of any Admixtures 

# Violation of any rules leads to disqualification. 

Selection of winner

# Winner of concrete cube competition will be determined based on the highest

marks obtained from average strength of the three cubes.

# Waste material could be anything like tetra packs, bottles, newspapers, old utensils, jute material or any second-hand items.

# Participants will be judged on Eco-friendly rating, Creativity, Utilization of Resources, Artistic composition & design, societal benefit and Overall presentation. 

# PowerPoint presentation (5 to 10 slides).

# Include step by step photos of the product making.

# Presentation: 5 minutes.

# Interaction: 3 minutes.

Specifications :  

# The specimen size - 150mm X 150mm X 150mm

Testing Stages :  

First stage - Dry density / Measuring the weight

Second stage - Water absorption test.

Third stage - Compression strength test.

# First round will be common for all the participants.

# Result on the basis of block strength.

# The team should bring two balls for Drop test and Rolling test.

# A Mix Design Report should be submitted to us during the event.

Specifications :  

# Concrete - M20 grade. 

Spherical balll  measures 200 mm ± 15 mm diameter.

# The cement materials shall be Portland Cement, Blended Cement Expansive cement. Supplementary cement materials such as natural pozzolana, silica fume, and Slag may also be used.

# Coarse aggregate less than 12.5mm # Admixtures may be used.

Restriction :

# Glues and similar binders, such as epoxy and other polymers, are not allowed.

Specifications :

# 200 Popsicle sticks and glue will be provided for making the bridge at the event time.  

# Any type of bridge can be constructed and should carry a load of 400g while testing.

# Additional materials will not be provided.

# PRELIMINARY ROUND (Quiz) -  with 25 questions, only 6 teams will be selected to the next round.  

# SECOND ROUND (AutoCAD) - G+2 Residential building Plan to be developed with floor plan, elevation and section (for the given Floor area).

Top 3 teams will be selected.

# Participants who produce their test Results, absolutely same or come closer to the Answer will be announced as the winner.

# Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed after registration.
