OVERVIEW

The Biomedical Engineering Society of India (BMESI) in Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BIT), Sathyamangalam, non-profit making professional learned body is established in 2020-2021 with proliferation of healthcare, biomedical engineering and clinical awareness about it and the accompanying industries, the BMESI is poised to play a pivotal role in the healthcare field and thus in nation-building process. Its ultimate focus is on developing and enriching the knowledge and technology in enhancing healthcare of the country through developments in the domain of Biomedical Engineering.

VISION

To enhance and develop a more structured and organized student run chapter to improve personal and professional development of the students, thereby creating competent professionals to serve as a valuable resource for industry, work environment and society in the pursuit of creating better healthcare solutions.

MISSION

Ø Utilize the special talents and attributes of Student Members, especially engineering imagination, technical expertise, moral responsiveness and social awareness.

Ø Increase campus awareness of the Chapter and attain greater volume in active membership.

Ø Encourage students to participate in technical events and collaborate with experts and delegates.

Ø Plan activities to communicate the recent advances in the field of healthcare.
