About Me

Hey there!!

I am Vidushi Chitranshi, presently in the final year of postgraduate education (2019-Present), majoring in Chemical Engineering, from University of Cape Town, South Africa .

I firmly believe that most pressing issues that the humanity is facing can be solved through Technology. I have been developing a CFD model on Fischer-Tropsch to understand the process better as my post graduation project. During my undergraduate program, I had taken courses in core chemical about Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Engineering Chemistry, Separation Processes, Material Science, Process Design Principles, Fluid Mechanics, Numerical Methods, Kinetic Reactor and Design, Chemical Process Calculations. I have also explored various applications of chemical engineering by doing courses like Petroleum Refining Technology, Transport Phenomena, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Modeling and Simulation, Process Equipment Designing . I have started my journey of self ­discovery and moving towards realization of my dream by working with various organisation and doing various projects. I wish to continue the same in future.

My research interests are mainly in the field of CFD and Modeling and Simulation with a focus on applications of techniques to different domains. I love to take a multidisciplinary approach to every problem I face. Feel free to connect with me in case you want to know more.
