Expedition 2023 Daily Updates
Saturday 14th January
Students have had another exciting day as we get towards the end of our expedition. We spent the day at Datanla Falls completing the High Ropes Challenge courses and speeding down the valley on the Alpine Rollercoaster. After our pizza night we had our movie night at the hotel. Staff took so may pictures of all the activities today it is going to take us a little while to sort the best of the bunch. Tomorrow morning sees our last activities here in Dalat before we begin our journey home.
Friday 13th January - A quick update From Mr Cheng
We have now returned from the campsite after a thrilling day of abseiling and hiking at Langbian Mountain. Students are currently refreshing themselves before we go to dinner and have the evening's entertainment - Quiz Night hosted by Mr Mcann & Mr McCourt.
Thursday 12th January
We will shortly be leaving the hotel and heading to the campsite by boat. Students will not have access to their mobile phones until tomorrow evening.
Wednesday 11th January
After a successful Razorback Trek all student are now checked in to the hotel for a quick bit of R&R before we head out for dinner. We will update with some photos when we return to the hotel. Please note that students phones will be collected from them after breakfast tomorrow and they will not get their phones back until we return to the hotel on Friday January 13th at approximately 4pm. You can still contact me on the emergency phone if needed. Please look out for a message from Miss Binnington tomorrow evening .
Monday 9th January - A quick update from Mr Cheng
Students are now back at the hotel after an exciting day at Datanla doing the Alpine Rollercoaster and High Ropes Course. Even though the Dalat rain tried it's best to dampen our spirits we had a great day. We will update with some pictures this evening after dinner.
A reminder that our flights tomorrow land in Saigon at 16.40. We will ask students to text you when we leave the airport but please expect us at school at approximately 17.40

Sunday 8th January -
We have just returned to the luxurious hotel after a wonderful day at the campsite enjoying some team building exercises with students from the Lam Dong School for the Deaf and the great BIS Year 8 raft building competition. On yesterday's night out, we enjoyed a campfire with some roasted marshmallows and slept comfortably in out tents after a long day of activities. Bright and early in the morning, we left the campsite and seized the day with a less strenuous hike that ended in a very exciting 25 meter abseil. Now that we are back at our hotel, we will enjoy some R&R with yet another fantastic meal followed by a movie night.
Friday 6th January - After a short domestic flight from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City to Lien Khuong Airport in Dalat, we embarked on our first journey. After a great meal, we arrived at Tuyen Lam Lake and started our four hour, nine kilometer razorback hike up and down the surrounding mountains and hills before regrouping on a bus that took us to a hotel in the center of Dalat. After settling into our hotel, we enjoyed a fantastic meal at a restaurant a few minutes away from the hotel.
