PE in the Curriculum

Primary and Secondary Physical Education runs in a block of four weeks. Secondary students will have two PE lessons a week while primary students will have one PE lesson and one swimming lesson per week.

In BIST, we provide a wide range of PE units in our curriculum which consist of:

Athletics, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton, Netball, Handball, Ultimate Frisbee, Dodgeball, Gymnastics, Wall climbing, Swimming (all four strokes), Softball, Rounders, Tee-ball, Cricket, Touch Rugby and many more. We also provide extra programmes in the Secondary School, such as sports leadership for Year 11, 12 and 13 to prepare students for future work experience.
