Typing and resizing
Adding and deleting rows or columns
Sorting columns
Coloring cells
Using the sum function
To add text to a box, simply click in it and start typing. Note: if you do not see a cursor where you are typing, you will delete everything in the box. If you cannot get a cursor to appear, you can click the box and above the sheet, there is a line with all the text and you can edit it there.
Some of your words will go over the box, do not worry, they will not be deleted. To show more words, simply click the line between the boxes and drag it to where you want it. The text will not automatically drop down a line, you can do this by hitting Ctrl + Enter.
If you have names and you want to sort them by last or first, simply select the column of first or last names by clicking on the letter at the top, click the little-drop down arrow and select Sort sheet A - Z
If you want to change the color of some boxes, for a yes/no response, for example, simply select the boxes you wish to color and click the paint bucket icon and select the desired color.
A cool feature if you are working with numbers is the Sum function. If you have numbers in a column and want to add them no matter how you change the numbers, select all the numbers in the column, click the sigma button in the top bar on the far right, and click sum. A box will update with some gibberish, press enter.
