Honor Choirs

Surround the State in Song  is an Honor Choir open to 6th grade students.  Students are chosen by their director.  If chosen they will be at Bismarck High School October 10th, 2026 from 9am to 3:00 for rehearsal and a concert at 3:30pm in the BHS Auditorium.

Northwest Honor Choir is open to 8th grade students.  Students will record an audition and submit it digitally with the help of their choir teachers.  If selected they will be in Minot  November 6-7, 2025 and will have an overnight stay in a hotel there as well.  

North Dakota ACDA Honor Choir is open to 7th and 8th grade students.  Students will record an audition and submit it digitally with the help of their choir teachers.  If selected they will be in Grand Forks February 5-6, 2027 with a concert in the afternoon on the 7th.

                                                     National ACDA Honor Choir is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.  Students will record an audition and submit it digitally with the help of their choir teachers.  If selected they will be in Minneapolis, MN March 7-10, 2027

**The student pays an audition fee to audition and a fee to participate.
