Senior Abby Munson is a first-year staff writer for the Century Star. She hopes to use her first year on the newspaper to learn more about reporting and explore stories about arts and culture, student life, news, opinion, and feature topics. “I like exploring different ways to look at a story and making sure readers get something out of it,” Munson said. 

Outside of journalism, she enjoys volunteering in her community, reading, exploring art, and spending time outdoors. She also works at the North Dakota Heritage Center, where she has developed an interest in history and culture. After high school, Munson plans to attend North Dakota State University.
