Check Out Policy:
Books are checked out for one week at a time.
Students in first through fifth grade will check out one book each week from the library.
Students may take books home if they show responsibility.
Damaged, Lost Books, and Overdues:
Damaged books should be returned to the Elementary Librarian for repair rather than trying to repair the book at home. If a repair can be made, there will be no replacement cost required.
Damaged or lost books need to be paid for at the replacement cost. If the book is found after payment is made, the money will be refunded.
Students with overdue books are not allowed to check out a new book until they return the overdue book or the replacement cost. Overdue book reminders are sent home weekly.
Damaged or lost books need to be paid for or returned within 1 month of due date, or progress reports/report cards will be held.
