Originally from Wichita, KS, Tiffany Nesbihal is excited to enter into her 10th year of band director at Bishop Miege High School. She received her Bachelor's of Music Education degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music. Prior to Miege Tiffany taught three years in Lee's Summit at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic School. In addition to Miege, Tiffany is teaches 5th - 8th grade bands at St. Agnes, St. Ann, and John Paul II schools.
Outside of school, Tiffany loves to travel and try new things. She also loves to play her oboe, read, hang out with her dog Dunkel, and do DIY projects. She is looking forward to another great year making music with the students at Miege!

Originally from Salina, KS, Austin Barnes has a Music Education Degree from Fort Hays State University and a Masters in Music Performance from Kansas State University where he served as Assistant Drumline Instructor. While at Kansas State, Austin served as principal percussionist in the Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Jazz band and Marching Bands. Austin currently teaches the Drumlines at Miege and Rockhurst along with the Middle School Bands at St. Elizabeth and Visitation. Austin has also been an active musician and private teacher around the Kansas City area for the past 11 years.
Austin also enjoys playing all sports, especially ultimate frisbee. He looks forward every fall to cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys, who, he believes, are primed for a Super Bowl run this season. Outside of school, he can usually be found playing music, throwing the frisbee or walking his dog, Sherpa.
