Questions from Families:
How long will the district be allowing students to attend school virtually? Is there a date by which all students are required to be back onsite for learning?
Families may choose virtual learning for the remainder of this school year, and into summer school as well. The district is constantly monitoring and evaluating the COVID-19 situation in conjunction with local health authorities, and is exploring virtual learning options that we may be able to offer beyond this school year. We will communicate those options as decisions are finalized.
I am having Istation login concerns. How do I know that my child's work in Istation (or other programs, like Imagine Math, Newsela, etc.) are being documented and credited to them?
If a student is able to log in successfully to their applications (Istation, Imagine Math, etc.), no matter what device they are on, they are receiving credit for that work. The program recognizes the work and credits it based on the login credentials, not based on the device that the student is working from. If you are having issues logging into a particular program on a specific device, we recommend reaching out first to your classroom teacher for support, who can then escalate the concern to the appropriate folks if they are unable to help you.
