$10 per ACADEMIC entry
$15 per SINGLE-SPEAKER entry (LD Debate, Oral Interp, Extemp)
$30 per TEAM SPEAKING entry (CX Debate)

We are hiring graders and judges. To offset that cost, we will charge each school with academic entries a flat $150 fee and schools with speech entries will be charged $200 per 3 speakers (single/team).

We will be using a blend of Hexco and independent contractor exams.

Graders and judges will be provided. A small fee to cover this expense will be charged to each participating school.

Waitlist
Schools with students who are waitlisted will be contacted within 3 - 5 days of registration with an updated invoice (quote) as well as information about the waitlist for the applicable events. The immediate automatic email will not state whether students are waitlisted. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Does someone for my school HAVE to check-in AT that designated time?
Does someone for my school HAVE to check-in AT that designated time?
Yes. This is the only time to get a welcome packet with all the information. We will also finalize the invoice at that time and will go over most important information. Schools that do not have a representative check-in will be dropped from rosters.
If something happens and your representative is unable to arrive on time: Message the coordinator at (682) 587-7114 the text, "Late Check-in, [School Name], [Representative Name]".

Yes. To access the guest WiFi, please follow the instructions provided in the welcome packets received at check-in.
How will verification be done?

Verification will happen five minutes following completion of grading on the appropriate table outside of the tab room. Coaches are encouraged to join the notification system (Remind) for the event the day of so that they are immediately aware of the verification period when it begins.

Awards will be posted to the presentation which will run on continuous display on the projector in the cafeteria. This presentation can also be viewed by scrolling down, or going to the link: tinyurl.com/26winterawards. Announcements with the physical awards will occur in the waiting area afterward.

Unclaimed awards will be placed in the school's bag located in the tab room. However, awards will not be mailed unless the school brings a prepaid, pre-labeled box or envelope.

Yes, but lunch will not be provided. Delivery options are availble in the Burleson area.

Are there any good restaurants around to order from, if preferred?
Yes. There are tons of good food to be found in Burleson. Some of our favorites are: Sonic, which is just down the road, as is Braum's; Chick-fil-A is five minutes away; and Fuzzy's is 10 minutes away.
