What is TAG?

TAG is a one day per week pull out program where we extend learning while challenging students to reason, solve problems, and think creatively. We place a big emphasis on working both independently and collaboratively, with the expectation that students will use their learning and experiences to create high quality products.

We recognize that academically gifted students face a unique set of challenges; therefore, part of our curriculum is designed to guide them through those challenges, equipping them with skills they need to guide themselves in the future. The goal is for students to emerge from TAG stronger than they were when they entered, not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. We also strive to develop leadership skills, recognizing that these children have potential to make a huge impact as citizens in our community and beyond.
