Social Contracts
During the first week of school, each class took time to develop social contracts based on how we wanted to be treated and how we were going to treat others. The four questions we answered to develop these contracts were:
1. How do you want to be treated by me (Ms. Moreira)?
2. How do you want to be treated by each other?
3. How do you think I (Ms. Moreira) want to be treated by you?
4. How do we want to treat each other when there is conflict?
Each student signed a copy of the contract and they are displayed in the front of our classroom so that we can see them everyday. This is a way for us to hold each other accountable to the high standards we set for how we will treat each other everyday.
