Hello! My name is Leah Reeves and this is my first year teaching at Centennial High School!
I graduated from Tarleton State University where I received my bachelor of science in psychology, along with a minor in music and vocal performance.
I am originally from Mississippi, but moved to Fort Worth 15 years ago. I attended North Crowley High School and was a member of the chamber choir, show choir, and tennis team. I also enjoy performing in musicals and surfing.
I began my journey with American Sign Language by taking courses during high school. I received the "Student of the Year" award all three years that I was enrolled. I have also interpreted church services and meetings for a high school student and rotating families.
After graduating college, I started out as a Pre-K teacher with Crowley ISD. I had the joy of working with the 3-6 years Deaf students, but I decided I would greater enjoy sharing my love of American Sign Language with hearing students.
