Character First

Character First is the curriculum that Burleson After School Programs are using district-wide to teach, put into practice, and reinforce good character traits in our students.

Every week your student will be learning a new character trait, the definition of that trait, and 5 "I Will" statements to illustrate what that trait looks like in their behaviors.

There are also coordinating stories from history and nature to elaborate on each character trait as well as short explanations of each word to be read daily.
