About Me

Hello Kerr Families,

      My name is Kristin Aguilar and this is my thirteenth year of teaching in Burleson ISD. This is my third year teaching at Kerr Middle School. I am a former 5th grade math teacher at STEAM Academy at Stribling Elementary. I am a Texas girl, born and raised. I am married and the proud mother of two precious girls. 

   I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Texas Tech University and my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Mathematics from University of Texas at Arlington. 

   My family and I enjoy traveling, playing games and watching movies.  We also spend a majority of our time watching my youngest daughter play softball.

   I enjoy cooking, baking, reading and crafting. My favorite part of teaching is building relationships with students and families. I hope to help every student embrace new challenges while fostering their creativity and curiosity!
