Hey guys! I am so excited to spend this school year with your precious kiddo's! This is my first year to teach in my own classroom and hope to grow and learn alongside my students in a loving, warm environment. In our classroom, students will be challenged each day to Explore, Discover and Learn!

About Me

I was born and raised in Brownwood, Texas and moved to Burleson in 2015. I was raised an only child, but I have a half sister, Stacy and three nieces, Tonya, Brooke and Chelsea that are more like sisters to me! Education is my second career, in my first career I worked in community non-profit organizations such as the American Red Cross and the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce. I graduated from Howard Payne University in 2002 with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, then graduated from Tarleton State University in 2008 with a Masters in Business Administration. Many factors played a part in my career change, but most of all, my desire to work with kids and make a positive impact in their lives led me to where I am today!

I am married to Michael and together we have three kiddo's, Hutton, Maddie and Lily and four dogs, Maverick, Comet, Spot and Finn. Hutton is 12 and in 6th grade at Coggin Intermediate in Brownwood, Maddie is 14, and a Freshman at Burleson High, and Lily is 16 and a Junior at BCHS. Most of my free time is spent watching football and baseball games, and enjoying time with my family. Some of my favorite things include reading, traveling with my family, spending time with friends and exercising. I love the color teal, Dr. Pepper, Fresco's, Amazon, Target and Boutique shopping!
