Mrs. zIEMAK's Nuggets

Hey everyone! I am so excited to have been chosen as your child's teacher this year! We will learn all we can about academics and character in a family type environment. This is my fourth year to be teaching at North Joshua, but my eighteenth year of teaching total. I have taught PK, Kinder, First, Second, and Third grades, but this is my first year in Fourth. I'm so excited for this new adventure being your child's Science and Social Studies teacher. NJE is truly the BEST school with amazing families and kids. I am so blessed to be a part of it.

I grew up in Cuero, Texas, and I am the youngest of four girls. I have three older sisters; Leah, Lisa, and Mariah.  I bet if you look closely at their names, you can figure out where I get the unique spelling of my name. :)  I attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. Wreck 'Em! My major was Animal Science but I followed my heart to become a teacher.  

In 2021, my husband Trent and I became parents to the most amazing little cowboy, Jakson "Jak" Roger Ziemak.  He will be starting PK at NJE this year! In 2023, we welcomed our perfect little cowgirl, Josie Lea. We are beyond blessed to have joined the parenthood world. 

Here are few facts about me:  I love the colors turquoise and red equally. :) My passion is raising and showing paint horses in all around events. I have shown horses since I was in the first grade. I am a very family oriented person. My faith, my kids, my husband, my parents, my sisters, my animals, and my students are my world!!  

I am so excited to be your child's teacher and for y'all to be a part of this ALL STAR class we have lined up for room 400. This is going to be an AMAZING year and I look forward to getting to know my new class family.
