My Story:

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with my bachelors of interdisciplinary studies in 1999. I taught kindergarten for 7 years and first grade for another year in Grand Prairie ISD. After teaching, I stayed home with my two boys and worked on my masters of Library Science from Texas Womans University. I also recieved the experience of being a children's librarian for the Grand Prairie Public library for one year. This is my 7th year at Hajek. I have been married to Lee for 15 years. My boys are the highlights of my life and I love spending time with my family and friends. I feel very blessed to be the library media specialist here at Hajek Elementary.
